Free To Air are satellite channels which differ a lot from the television channels that we watch on our cable TV.

Certain information is required to receive Free To Air channels:

· What is the frequency of the transmission of the channel?

· What is the symbol rate utilized by the channel?

· Which satellite is used to transmit the channel?

· What is the format of broadcasting of the channel? (PAL, DVB, NTSC …)

· What polarity is it being transmitted on?
