Active-X Installation for Firefox
Browsers other than Internet Explorer, like Mozilla Firefox, generally do not support Active-X controls. Also Firefox supporting Active-X is highly unlikely ever.
However plug-ins specifically designed so as to support Active-X for legacy, custom as well as intranet solutions are available and third-party plug-ins such as Mozilla Active-X Plug-in can be downloaded.
